The Green and clean Kampung of Gunungsari IV Street has won the Best of The Best title in Waste-Free Award 2012 because of its transformation from slum kampung to green and clean kampung. It also stayed in the top 50 of Surabaya Green and Clean in 2013, 2014, and 2015. It is also supported by the existence of Waste Bank that treat organic waste with diapers, IPAL, Takakura Basket, Composter, and Hydroponics.
